International food and drink companies to head to Warsaw, Poland

International food and drink companies are planning to head to Poland next month for the first edition of WorldFood Warsaw, Poland’s international food and drink exhibition. The inaugural event will take place on 9-11 April 2014 in the EXPO XXI, Warsaw.

The event will enable
food and drink suppliers to gain insights into the Polish market, gauge demand and forge new business partnerships with supermarkets, distributors, wholesalers, restaurateurs, retailers and food production companies.

Nearly 100 companies will exhibit to present the following produce: fruit, vegetables, meat, spices, additives, gourmet food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, distribution services as well as food packaging and processing equipment.

16 companies will converge from Europe (mainly France, Germany, Greece and Italy); 40 participants will represent Polish companies and the remaining exhibitors will display produce from the rest of the world, including the exotic locations of Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and many other countries.

For professional visitors, WorldFood Warsaw offers a diverse conference programme, seminars and onsite tastings.

Andrew Burman, International Sales and Event Manager from ITE Group plc (organisers of WorldFood Warsaw) comments: “With an expanding middle class who are emulating Western patterns of consumption, Poland’s food industry offers a wealth of opportunities for international companies. I wish all exhibitors a successful show.”
